Meatloaf

 1 beaten egg

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (I use progresso italian)

1/4 c. milk

1Tbsp dried minced onion or 1/4 c. finely chopped

1/4 c chopped celery

2 Tbsp parsley (optional)

1/2 tsp dried sage, thyme, basil or oregano (I use sage)

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1 pound ground beef

ketchup & mustard (can also put bbq sauce, never tried)

In  mixing bowl, combine egg, bread crumbs, milk, onion, celery and parsley, herbs, salt & pepper.  Add ground meat and mix well.  Form into loaf and put in bread loaf pan (sometimes poke finger holes down center to help cook through, don't have to) and cook at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes (sometimes takes an hour - just have to cut into to see if still red).

Transfer to serving plate and put sauce of choice on it (we do ketchup and mustard)

Makes 4 servings
